Fire Engineer/EMT - Moncks Corner - South Carolina

The Fire Engineer/EMT Provides for the safe response of firefighting apparatus and for the effective operation of pumper, ladder, and specialized firefighting equipment at emergencies and routine assignments. Participates in firefighting activities, fire prevention activities, public fire education, fire station activities, and equipment maintenance. Provides emergency medical care to sick and injured persons.

The Fire Engineer may be required to fill in for a Fire Captain in an acting capacity. Requires three (3) years of experience in fire service. NREMT, IFSAC Firefighter 2 or Pro Board equivalent, Pump and Aerial Operator, Emergency Vehicle Driver Training, and ICS-300; may be required to possess additional certifications within one year of employment. High School Diploma or GED and SC Driver’s License Required.

Grade N-108, Pay range, depending on experience and certifications. Pay range: $43,094 – $66,796
