Biography

Dennis is a lifelong resident of Moncks Corner, a graduate of Berkeley High School and The Citadel. He held a Finance and Banking career in the Moncks Corner community from 1980 until 2019.

David was first elected to Moncks Corner Town Council in 2006.

He’s been a part time employee of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department since 2020. Dennis is married to Susan Sellers Dennis. They have two grown children, LaraBeth Tucker (Charles) and Trey Dennis (Maria). He’s a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Sawyer, Hunley, and Sullivan Tucker and Emerson Dennis. Son of David and Vera Green Dennis.
